“Be positive, be productive, be patient, be persistent and be in it for the long haul.”

I am a native of Connecticut and a graduate of Springfield College as well as a personal trainer. I began my love of fitness as a child athlete playing softball, basketball, and soccer. I continued my fitness journey in my teens and twenties. I began bodybuilding as an adult after battling thyroid cancer and the inability to stabilize my weight.

Not only through lifting did I learn to be patient and persistent, this is also where I found my passion to want to help others achieve their own fitness goals. When I am not in the gym training I am spending time with my children hiking, swimming, or being silly around a campfire.

Favorite Food: Mexican

Favorite Lift: Anything back related

Favorite Pastime: Laughing with my kids

Be in it for the long haul.

Meg Yvonne, Owner

NASM, CPR, & Nutrition Certified

I was born and raised in the cold but beautiful state of Maine. Thanks to hibernating in the gym while the long winters passed, I discovered my passion for fitness. I have expertise in many different training modalities, from CrossFit, to running, and have finally landed on strength training, specifically Powerlifting.

In 2016, I began working as an independent personal trainer and have not looked back. I have trained all over the US and even in Spain! I’ve been blessed to have helped so many wonderful clients, and I can’t wait to continue the journey.

I pride myself in a science based and structured approach to training. Something that fits into your life, is enjoyable, and has long-term, sustainable results.

Deb Dunn, Physical Therapist

PT, DPT, OCS

Deb has practiced in the Upstate of South Carolina for most of her career as a physical therapist and is thrilled to be so warmly welcomed back to North Carolina. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and went on to complete residency training in orthopedics to become a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).

Deb has always been fascinated by the body and its resilience in the face of injury, dysfunction, and pain. She is an avid hiker and practices weightlifting, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and soccer to stay active and healthy – these have led to their fair share of injuries and Deb has been able to return to each activity stronger and more adaptable than before.

Deb is certified in trigger point dry needling and has additional training in concussion management and vestibular disorders. Deb’s favorite part of physical therapy is helping her clients return to the activities they love without pain or fear of injury.
